If your Nokia or Samsung handset develops an unlikely fault, Fonebox's Repair Centre is able to offer a fast, reliable service, GUARANTEED!
If your Nokia or Samsung handset is within it's 24 month Warranty period Fonebox is able to repair your handset for FREE.
For handsets that are out of Warranty, Fonebox will offer a chargeable service at extremely competitive rates using only Genuine Nokia and Samsung spares.

WARRANTY REPAIR
PLEASE BE AWARE ALL MOBILE PHONE DATA WILL BE LOST IN A REPAIR!!!
Make sure you back up anything important as Fonebox takes no responsibility for any loss of data and has no facility to back it up.
Data that can be lost include Names and numbers, Text messages, Calendar information, Pictures, Videos, Music, and general settings changed in the handset.
Fonebox is able to determine whether you're Nokia or Samsung mobile phone is within its warranty period. However, if you have your proof of purchase please include it as it may be required. Both Nokia and Samsung provide a 24 month warranty on new phones.
Accessories that are supplied with your handset come with a 6 months warranty, and memory cards come with a 3 month warranty from the purchase date. If you believe your accessory supplied with your phone is faulty please CONTACT US before you send it.
If you think you are eligible for a free repair please CONTACT US with your faulty phones details. The details needed are listed below.
- For a Nokia repair please supply the 15 digit IMEI NUMBER (Usually found under the phones battery)
- For a Samsung repair please supply 11 character SERIAL NUMBER and MODEL NUMBER (Usually found under the phones battery)
Once checked, read our STEP BY STEP GUIDE, and send the handset into us using our ADDRESS LABEL. 90% of warranty repairs are carried out on site within 48 hours of receipt. If we are unable to repair your phone on site it may be sent back to manufacturer for repair or exchange. The average turnaround time for phones returned to the manufacturer is 2-3 weeks.
The manufacturers warranty does not cover any fault that has occurred due to PHYSICAL or LIQUID DAMAGE.
Some examples of non-warranty faults include;
- cracked LCD screens
- moisture/liquid damage
- damaged power switches
- wear and tear
- security locks/codes/passwords
If your phone is deemed to be BEYOND ECONOMICAL REPAIR for any reason a £15.00 fee per phone will be applied to cover the inspection and return postage.

OUT OF WARRANTY REPAIR

If your handset is over 24 months old, or has been damaged within its 24 month Warranty then your handset is deemed OUT OF WARRANTY. Don't assume this is the end of your mobile phone as we can still repair your phone, and can sometimes be a lot cheaper than buying a new phone.

Please be aware we cannot repair all phones, please look at. "WHAT ARE FONEBOX UNABLE TO REPAIR?" as this may tell you that your handset cannot be repaired, and could prevent an inspection fee of £15.00.

To send your phone in for repair, just follow the simple step guide below.
Step 1
Back up all data on your handset as it will be lost.
Remove your SIM card and memory card as they will be destroyed if recieved.
Make sure only your phone and battery are sent in. Send the charger if the fault is charging related.
Step 2
Click on the REPAIR FORM link.
Complete all details and include a copy in with the phone. Keep a copy for yourself incase
you need to contact us. If you do not have a printer please write all the details from our form on a brief note, making sure a copy goes with the phone and you keep a copy.
Step 3
Package your phone securely and affix the ADDRESS LABEL to the front of the parcel
Fonebox cannot be held responsible for loss or damage whilst in transit.
Send it Special Delivery through the Post Office so you can track it.
Step 4
Once received, your phone will be assessed and checked for warranty by a service engineer, if all is ok, it will be returned to you for FREE. If Out of warranty a member of our team will contact you with an estimate for repair. If you accept we will take payment and dispatch to you ASAP.

LIQUID DAMAGE - Condensation, from leaving it in a car on a cold night, or spilling a drink on your phone, are some examples of minor, and major LIQUID DAMAGE which will deem your phone to be BEYOND ECONOMICAL REPAIR.
In some instances of LIQUID DAMAGE, when a phone is stripped down for repair, it can disturb the corrosion and accelerate or worsen the phones condition. Please be aware of this.

DAMAGED PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD - Often when a phone is dropped this can result in the PCB being bent or damaged. This type of damage renders the phone BEYOND ECONOMICAL REPAIR.
In some instances of a DAMAGED PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD, when a phone is stripped down for repair, it can disturb damaged components and accelerate or worsen the phones condition. Please be aware of this.

BLACKLISTED PHONES - Mobile networks now have the ability to disable phones that have been reported lost or stolen. This means that the handset is blocked from all UK networks and is BEYOND ECONOMICAL REPAIR.

REFUSED ESTIMATES - If we take in a repair and you refuse our quotation for repair.
If your phone is deemed to be BEYOND ECONOMICAL REPAIR or you REFUSE OUR ESTIMATE, a £15.00 fee will be applied to cover the inspection fee including return postage.

PAYMENT DETAILS
If your phone is Out Of Warranty, please ensure your contact phone number is supplied and is reliable as we will use this for taking payment through Credit/Debit card. If you are sending a cheque then there will be a slight delay as the handset will not be returned until funds have cleared.

All prices above include VAT. They are also estimates, and cannot be fully accurate until we inspect the handset, as other parts maybe needed to complete the repair. We will contact you once we have inspected the handset.

POSTAGE
Even though we are supplying an ADDRESS LABEL the postage is not pre paid. It is advised that you post your phone to Fonebox using the Post Office's Special Delivery service so you can track your parcel.
